Grievance Policy
The Depth Institute is fully committed to conducting all educational activities in strict conformance with the American Psychological Association's Ethical Principles of Psychologists. We are dedicated to providing continuing education experiences that are fair, equitable, and strictly free of commercial bias.
While The Depth Institute strives to anticipate and resolve all issues, grievances may occasionally arise regarding course content, instructor presentation, digital accessibility, or the issuance of certificates. To ensure a rigorous and supportive learning environment, the following procedural guideline will be observed:
Submission: All grievances must be submitted in writing via email to support@depthinstitute.com with the subject line "Formal Grievance." The participant must state the specific nature of the grievance and their requested resolution.
Initial Review & Triage Timeline: Incoming support communications are actively monitored and triaged by our independent administrative management team. The administrative team will acknowledge receipt of the complaint within three (3) business days.
Escalation Pathways: Under normal operations, the administrative team will forward the complaint to the Clinical CE Director (Tori Olds, Ph.D.) for review, who will formulate a formal response and proposed resolution within thirty (30) days of receipt. In the event that a grievance directly concerns the CE Director, or an instruction she provided, the administrative team will bypass the Director entirely and automatically escalate the grievance to the independent members of the CE Planning Committee for an objective, peer-reviewed resolution.
Outcomes: Potential resolutions may include, but are not limited to: a partial or full refund of tuition, access to an alternative training module, or a formal corrective action plan for future programming. All decisions rendered by the CE Director or the CE Planning Committee are final. Records of all grievances and their resolutions are kept securely, strictly confidential, and retained for a minimum of five (5) years.
